Wee School at Lake Cities is a Mother’s Day Out/ Preschool Program that is offered as a ministry of Lake Cities Church of Christ. The preschool’s goal is to provide a secure and loving environment with a Christian emphasis that encourages social interaction, spiritual awareness, and educational growth. The church views this preschool as another way to reach out to the community, and to make a life changing contribution to the young people and families of our society.

We are now accepting enrollment. Wee School meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and follows the Northwest ISD holiday schedule. Currently, there are spots available for ages 12 months to pre-kindergarten.

In all classes, there are two teachers that provide developmentally appropriate activities and materials to help children learn and grow at their own pace. Teachers combine structured daily routines with free-choice activity time, allowing the children to explore their own creativity, while relying on the comfort of predictable routines.

The children love attending Music class and Chapel each week and delight us with their mastery of Bible stories and songs. They are always exploring with arts and crafts where they get to create with different materials, textures and mediums. Each child excels when getting to learn with hands on activities. The children seem to flourish with the individual attention they receive in the small class sizes.
