Chet joined the Lake Cities staff in November, 2013, as the Worship Minister, and is thrilled to be a part of this fantastic church. Chet graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Radio, Television and Film production. As well as leading worship, Chet owns his own travel agency, Off to Neverland Travel. Chet is husband to his beautiful wife, Joni, and together they have three girls, Hannah, Olivia and Ellie.  Chet is also an author and an inspirational speaker who travels all over the country telling people how to live happy lives despite terrible circumstances.  In his downtime, Chet enjoys playing with his girls and video games.

Chet’s vision for worship is to bring each person as close to God as possible not only on Sunday mornings, but at all times.  He believes that true worship is a chosen lifestyle, and tries to encourage that way of life.  Chet’s desire for Sunday worship is to have an uplifting, celebratory experience that not only uplifts us, but much more importantly, is pleasing to God.  His fervent prayer is that God not only accepts our worship, but that our praise brings a smile to God’s face!
